Nanjing Xiaozhuang University (NJXZU)

The Nanjing Xiaozhuang University is a national university located at No. 41 Beiwei Road, in the city of Nanjing of the Jiangsu province in the People’s Republic of China. Founded by noted educationist, Tao Xiangzhi, the university is run according to his principle , “teach people to see the truth, learn to seek truth”. This seat of higher learning is spread across the two campuses of Mochou and Fangshan.

FACULTY
This prestigious university has on its rolls, over 1100 instructors that includes more than 300 eminent instructors who have earned a name in their respective fields. The eminent list of faculty members include one Celebrity Instructor of Jiangsu Province Higher Education, six instructors who foster development of Third Level students at the provincial “333 Project”, three who train up Youth Academic Leader for Qinglan Project, and twelve who are Excellent Youth Key Instructors.

STUDENTS
At present over 15,300 students are pursuing their studies in the various departments of the fulltime undergraduate programs of the university while over 9000 are studying in various types of adult continuing education programs. There are also 187 foreign students undergoing their studies here.

INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE UNIVERSITY
The Nanjing Xiaozhuang University has a number of institutions affiliated to it. These are the Institute of Eastern Culture and International Exchange and the China-Korea IT Institute, one college, twelve subsidiary colleges, two research centers, seven research institutes, as well as an institute of continuing education. It also has one provincial level construction discipline, one model centre for basic experimental education, one National-level and Provincial–level Specialized Construction Points and one Provincial Specialized Major.

INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
This prestigious seat of higher learning has established exchange programs with institutes of higher learning in countries like Japan, Korea, the United States, England, France, Russia, Canada and other countries and regions. ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA
For admission in the language courses, the applicants should be high school graduates and above 18 years of age and should posses good health. For undergraduate students, the applicants should be high school pass outs, above 18 years of age and should be in sound health and should also have a good command over the Chinese language. Students, who are not familiar with the Chinese language, can enroll in the Chinese language course in the university, and then carry on their bachelor degree studies there.
