Beihua university is a state owned public university located on the 3999 Huashan Rd, Fengman, in the Jilin province of the People’s Republic of China. The university is spread across an area of 1,263,700 square meters comprising the four campuses of the south, the north, the east, and the west.

MOTTO
The motto of the university is, “Advocating moral integrity and hard learning; holding self -reliance and earnest practice”.

TRACING THE ROOTS
The university was founded in 1999 with the amalgamation of the original Jilin Teacher’s college, Jilin Medical College, Jilin Forestry College and Jilin Electrification Academy.

EXCHANGE PROGRAM WITH FOREIGN COUNTRIES

Beihua university has mutual exchange programs and cooperative relationships with 27 educational institutions from countries like South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, America, Russia, Canada, etc. In August, 2006, the Chinese Ministry of Education gave its approval for the university to accept Chinese government allowance for foreign students. The university, has till date, invited nearly 170 foreign experts and scholars to deliver lectures on various topics and has sent nearly 160 students and faculties to cooperate in scientific research and attend international academic conferences in America, Japan, Russia, South Korea and many, European countries. The university has also accepted 84 foreign students from Pakistan, Somalia, and Australia and so on to pursue courses in clinical medicine.
